THE IOWA CITY REVIEW

The Iowa City Review was a design passion project inspired by journalistic publications like The Iowa Review and other statewide literary magazines. It’s no secret that Iowa City is rich in literary and artistic history. The Iowa City Review is an anthology of the creativity that comes out of this city, not limited to time, genre, or medium. These pages hold short stories, essays, poems, photographs, sculptures, lithographs, and illustrations.

Although these artists are spread across the nation now, they all have ties to this city. They were teachers, they were students, sometimes both. Some grew up here, and some were only visitors. It’s a love letter to and from a place that every one of us called home at one point or another. A heartfelt thank you to every creator that contributed their art to this work.
